At The Place, we encourage our unchurched neighbors of every ethnicity and age to experience Jesus. So, what does unchurched mean? Unchurched are those who have lost interest in the idea of church. It also refers to those who have never been to church. In essence, people who feel church is nothing but guilt, judgement, and shame. Given these points, reaching the unchurched is our top priority.
And there is salvation in no one else. For there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

A Woman That Loves Wholeheartedly
Pastor Samantha Brown is a native of Brooklyn, NY. However, Tampa, Florida has been her home for over 25 years. Her passion for outreach, especially for economically disadvantaged persons, led her to organize several programs. Mobile food pantry that serves those facing food insecurity. And a transitional housing program for women and children facing homelessness. Pastor Brown’s work in the community is recognized across Florida.

In a world of online polarization, one thing seems to be missing: love. That’s why The Place church chooses to be a service-oriented church. We believe that the love the world seeks is found in the death, life, teachings, and resurrection of Jesus. So, we want to do something to make that love known to every person in Florida and beyond. As part of this community, you’ll be inspired to use your talents to expand God’s Kingdom and share the love of Jesus with the world.
